She and her husband raised their two children, started a fishing business and have been productive members of the community. Gloria is an active member of the Curry Sportfishing Association, helping every year with the annual derby fundraiser, and attendance at many meetings both locally and out of town. Most recently Gloria has become a member of the Gold Beach Rotary Club. She is currently working on the committee for High on Health Fundraiser in conjunction with the Curry Health Foundation, Rotary Road Clean up Crews, and Rotary Speaker Coordinator.
